During this project I would say that I have been highly organised and focused. Throughout these three weeks I have been researching potential projects beforehand in order to maximise efficiency, as well as proceeding to do work at home. The first project, the op-ed, required my full attention as I did the majority of the writing so this required me to be very organised. The second project, the video work, again required my full attention as I alone was responsible for writing the script, filming the video, and editing the video. The third project, the podcast, required me to to less work than my previous two projects as myself and my partner split the research and editing in half but this does not mean I was not as focused and organised as the other projects.
2.Have you met deadlines in a timely fashion? If not, why not? How can you change this?
During this project, all deadlines were met. In fact all of my projects were finished before the deadline due to myself and my partners being able to maximise our efficiency by being organised and going into each project with a plan.
3.Have you made back up plans? If so, explain what they were and how they helped.
A backup plan was never made for any of my projects as we had secure plans. However, I can see why a backup plan could be useful and should be put in place. In future projects, a backup plan will be made incase something falls through.
4.Where have you performed well? What are your strengths?
As previously mentioned, for my projects I did most of the work compared to my partners. I would like to think this has allowed me to strengthen my skills further in writing, filming and editing. I would personally say that my particular strengths are writing and editing (podcasts). I find that my video editing and general podcast skills still need work, and theres still area for improvement on my strengths.
5.What are your priorities for the next three weeks? What do you need to learn? What do you need to get better at?
My priorities for the next three weeks are to continue my projects with the same efficiency, focus and quality. Speaking of quality, I think that my future video work needs to be of an improved quality. This can easily be done by filming on a professional camera with a professional microphone, then proceeding to edit in Adobe instead of CapCut. I also need to learn to tell my partners to do more work rather than having it all left to me.
