B2 FMP - Primary Research

1.The first piece of primary research I conducted was a Google forms poll. I uploaded this to my professional as well as personal social media accounts. I didn't manage to get many responses but those that did respond were very insightful and their answers will be put to good use in my article. I have learnt that many people are not willing to speak on this subject, in particular men. I had no men reply to my Google forms poll which allows me to infer that this subject is a touchy one as they know it exists and that they are the problem.

2.The second piece of primary research I conducted was an interview with Leora Hadas, a University of Nottingham professor specialising in fan studies. I conducted this interview in the TV studio, I then proceeded to transcribe the interview for my article. This interview provided me with some great quotes I can use in my article. It has also helped me define the angle my article will take. This interview has improved my knowledge on misogyny not only in separate communities such as music fan girls and football fan boys but also within the same communities such as TV shows, films and books.
