Experience of producing stories targeting underserved audiences
Working in pressured environments whilst maintaining legal and editorial awareness
Delivering to tight deadlines while maintaining the highest editorial standards
Evidence of how to make stories work across multi-platforms
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated journalist who is an enthusiastic self-starter with excellent organisational skills.
The person would be interested in producing stories for teams across digital, TV and radio and working alongside journalists and correspondents to bring reports together.
The candidate should want to work as part of a team but should also be comfortable coming up with ideas and working to their own deadlines.
They would have an understanding of our target audiences in the North East and Cumbria and have a thorough knowledge of the BBC values.
