Tuesday with Stuart: What is sound?

Sound Research:

Sound is acoustic waves which vibrate, 'In physics, sound is a vibration that propagates as an acoustic wave, through a transmission medium such as a gas, liquid or solid.'

High notes have a high frequency and the waves are very close together. Low notes have a low frequency and the waves are spread out, 'Sound is a vibration, or wave, that travels through the air. Sound waves are invisible to our eyes; unless we find a way to make the sound waves move something that we can see.'
