The FMP brief is very open. It's down to you to figure out how to respond to it! 1.What are your initial thoughts on the brief? My initial thoughts on the brief are that there's a lot to do in very little time. However, I do feel that I'll be able to complete this final major project to the best of my ability as I have many ideas and I'm keen to put them into motion. 2. Your work could include any combination of:
Writing for web
Magazine layout
Web layout
Vlogging
Documentary
A TV segment
A podcast
A radio show
Photography
Which of the pathways will you start off exploring? Why?
I'm interested in creating a TV segment/show, a podcast, and an article. This is because it's pushing me out of my comfort zone and I believe I can create something great. I usually stick to writing and hate touching upon any other forms of media but I want to push myself. It will also give me a better chance of \ higher mark and getting my dream BBC apprenticeship.
3.What further research do you think you need to do to help you generate ideas? I need to research:
-Morning TV shows to take inspiration from
-Bunny boiler theory/origin
-hate watching/following theory/origin
-Lee Anderson (Tory MP)
-Cancel culture, why do we hate?
-Nottingham Castle racism scandal/missing £30 mil 4.What techniques, styles, and software do you think you will begin looking at and experimenting with? I will be using Adobe Audition (Podcast) and Adobe Premier (TV Show). I will be furthering my skills in Adobe premier by using techniques I have never before needed.
