- The microphones
There are four microphones located on a round table. It is recommended that you take a drink before speaking in order to have a clear pronunciation and you speak close to the microphone in order for it to clearly pick you up. You must not fiddle with anything while recording as it will be picked up and makes it harder to edit.

- The headphones
There are four headphones, one pair for each speaker. The headphones allow you to hear yourself and everyone else clearly. You hear exactly what the listener of the finished product will hear, allowing you to pin point mistakes and retake anything if needed.

The acoustic panel is a sound-absorbing panel used to reduce background noise and the reverberation and echo in a space.

- The mixing desk
The mixing desk is where everything is controlled. Before the recording the person in charge of the recording desk will ask you to each speak to get everyone at the same volume. They are then able to start and end the recording.

- The monitors

- The headphone amp
The headphone amp allows podcast participants to hear each other. It plugs into the audio mixer, as do the microphones.

- Adobe Audition
This is used to edit the podcast. I found this to be a long process but was fairly simple when the computer actually decided to open adobe. The first step was to go through and cut out what wasn't needed, I then proceeded to go over it again and cut out any parts where someone wasn't speaking so you could only hear the audio of the person who was speaking. This allowed any background noise like the others fiddling with lanyards or loud breathing to be cut out. Next was to insert the intro and outro. i finished it off with adding some music kust after the into and just before the outro.
